Étape 1
Our treatments against rats and mice
Professional rodent control is not limited to placing bait: it combines a precise diagnosis of the species present (brown rat, black rat, house mouse) and their paths, then several complementary levers — secure rodenticide baiting (TP14 products authorised by ANSES), mechanical trapping and sealing of entry points — to eliminate the population and prevent any recolonisation. The Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plan is defined after a free site diagnosis, in accordance with the NF EN 16636 standard and the biocidal regulations in force in France.
Diagnosis and species identification
Locating signs of presence (droppings, greasy smears, gnawing, fluorescent flour tracking), identifying the species and estimating the infestation level. This stage determines the choice of bait, dosage and placement.
Secure baiting (TP14 rodenticide)
Placement of sealed and numbered bait stations containing slow-acting anticoagulant blocks (Bromadiolone, Difenacoum), classified as TP14 biocidal products authorised by ANSES. Rodents take the poison back to the nest, eliminating the entire colony. Stations are inaccessible to children and pets, complying with biocidal regulations.
Mechanical trapping
Snap traps and glue boards used in sensitive environments (professional kitchens, nurseries, schools) where chemical baiting is prohibited or discouraged. Periodic monitoring included in the follow-up, clean removal of carcasses.
Access point sealing (proofing)
Identification and then sealing of holes, cracks, duct passages and expansion joints with steel wool, mortar or stainless steel mesh. A mouse passes through a 6mm hole, a rat through 20mm: without this step, recolonisation is guaranteed within weeks.
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) & pest control register
For pros: annual IPM contract compliant with the NF EN 16636 standard, with scheduled visits, up-to-date pest control register (3D register), bait station placement plan, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and intervention certificate issued at each visit for your internal audits (IFS, BRC, AFNOR) and hygiene inspections (DDPP, health services).
Étape 2
Habitat and behaviour of rats and mice
The brown rat (Rattus norvegicus) digs burrows in basements, crawl spaces, sub-levels and around buildings, while the black rat (Rattus rattus) prefers heights: attics, false ceilings and service ducts. The house mouse (Mus musculus), much smaller, nests close to food sources, in partitions, behind appliances and at the back of cupboards. These rodents are active mainly at night, live in hierarchical colonies around a dominant female and breed year-round in heated urban environments: a single female can give birth to more than 40 young per year, explaining how quickly an isolated presence turns into an infestation.
Étape 3
What causes an infestation?
Three factors trigger an infestation: easy access to the building (cracks in the facade, unsealed service ducts, cellar hatches, ventilation ducts without grilles), a permanent food source (open bins, kitchen scraps, pet kibble, poorly maintained bin rooms, ground-floor restaurants and food shops) and a nearby water source (leaking pipes, manholes, basins). In Paris and the near suburbs, urban density, roadworks, old sewer systems and building adjacency considerably facilitate movement from one building to another, explaining why an infested neighbour very often leads to the contamination of the entire co-ownership.
Étape 4
How do you recognise an infestation?
A rodent infestation is first betrayed by scratching noises in a partition or false ceiling, especially at the beginning of the night. In daylight, you then discover black rice-grain-shaped droppings at the back of a cupboard, gnawed cables or packaging, and thin greasy smears left by fur along skirting boards. A persistent ammonia smell in the cellar or under the sink confirms the presence of an active colony. The earlier the detection, the faster, more targeted and more economical the rodent control.

Étape 6
Where do they hide?
Rats and mice always settle where they find warmth, moisture and peace. Our diagnoses therefore focus on cellars and basements, attics and false ceilings, crawl spaces, service shafts and back kitchens. Mapping these refuges precisely determines everything that follows: poorly positioned bait leaves the majority of the population intact and promotes rapid recolonisation.
Étape 7
Health and property risks
Rodents do not just gnaw. They contaminate food with their droppings, degrade insulation and electrical wiring — the primary known factor for animal-related fires in old buildings — and transmit leptospirosis as well as various salmonelloses. In co-ownerships, an untreated colony quickly colonises neighbouring floors via crawl spaces, turning an individual problem into a costly collective disaster.
Étape 8
Our 5-step intervention
- 1
Full inspection
Complete inspection of the premises, precise identification of the pest, assessment of the infestation level and of the layout of the site in order to define the most effective intervention strategy.
- 2
Transparent quote
A detailed quote is issued before any intervention, presenting the recommended solutions, the response times and any travel costs that may apply.
- 3
Professional treatment
Intervention carried out by a certified technician using mechanical, thermal or chemical methods suited to your situation, in full compliance with current regulations.
- 4
Prevention & proofing
Identification of the causes of the infestation, tailored recommendations and, where necessary, sealing of entry points to limit the risk of re-infestation.
- 5
Follow-up & support
An intervention report is issued, along with post-treatment advice and the option to schedule a follow-up visit or a monitoring contract according to your needs.

Étape 10
How can infestations be prevented?
Once the population is eliminated, prevention relies on a few essential actions: sealing entry points with steel wool and mortar, storing food in airtight containers, emptying bins daily and keeping cellars and bin rooms clean. For co-ownerships and businesses, an annual or bi-annual inspection contract remains the best guarantee to prevent a new colony from having time to settle.
Étape 11
Rodent control — FAQ
How long does an intervention take?
Between 1 and 4 hours depending on the surface area and the level of infestation.
Are the treatments dangerous for children and pets?
Our protocols strictly comply with regulations. A re-entry period will be specified for you.
Do you handle emergencies?
Yes, intervention within 24h across the whole of Île-de-France. Intervention 7 days a week, 24/7.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes, a results guarantee with follow-up visits included depending on the service.
What area do you cover?
Paris (75), 77, 78, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95 — the whole of Greater Paris.
